Quality Manager

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a dedicated Quality Manager to join their client's team in Pembroke, North Carolina. This role involves coordinating and supervising the division's inspection and testing procedures for finished products, ensuring they meet quality specifications and standards. The Quality Manager will perform duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Responsibilities

  • Formulates and maintains quality control objectives that align with corporate policies and goals.
  • Interprets quality control philosophy to key personnel within the organization.
  • Coordinates objectives with production procedures alongside other plant managers to enhance product reliability and reduce costs.
  • Provides inspection activity throughout the product production cycle.
  • Utilizes total quality management tools and approaches in analytical and reporting processes within each department.
  • Directs workers in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
  • Designs and implements quality control training programs for key personnel in collaboration with managers.
  • Investigates and resolves customer concerns regarding quality.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The Quality Manager directly supervises employees in the Quality Control Department. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, and resolving problems, all in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Education and Experience

A Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university and three to five years of related experience and/or training is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Monday to Friday, 1st Shift

Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 per year

This position is a supervisory role.
